I work with all ages and all levels of voice students from beginner to advanced. I am a strong believer in crossover voice training and specialize in vocal technique from classical to musical theatre to pop. Every voice is important and deserves to be heard and in my lessons I lead with joy and provide a fun, caring and supportive learning environment.
I graduated from Lawrence University in Appleton, WI with a degree in Vocal Performance and a degree in English Literature and have training in vocal pedagogy as well as over 10 years of voice and stage experience.

Songwriting Classes
Are you a musician who wants to start writing their own songs, or do you have a child who is always singing their own tunes around the house? I also offer songwriting lessons!
Work with me to dive deeper into your songwriting practice. I’ve been writing songs for over 5 years and can be a sounding board, teach helpful techniques, get you out of your writing block rut and teach the basics of songwriting. Beginners are welcome!
I also teach kid friendly songwriting classes and have experience with ages 4-12. Classes can be individual or with a group. We start with learning basic song forms and talk about rhyming, chord progressions, rhythm and themes, write lyrics together and finish with a performance and/or recording of the song to share with family and friends.
